Top 10 Email Blaster email marketing Features

Published: 5th February 2020
Here at email blaster, we are constantly adding and developing new features to help you to create send and track great email marketing.

Our ethos has always been to make powerful software that is intuitive and easy to use. So in this video, we are going to take a quick look at ten features that the email blaster software has that make it easier for you to produce great-looking, successful email marketing campaigns.

So, let’s get started with number 1.

  1. Drag and drop builder

  2. Email Blaster has a great easy to use drag and drop designer. This means that you can quickly and easily create really great looking designs without needing to be an HTML coder.

You can simply drag your images and company branding from your computer and drop it into place on your design. You can also cut and paste your text into place and edit using the same tools that you may see in Microsoft Word

  3. Cleaning your lists on import

  4. When you import your list of email addresses, email blaster’s List Ai will scan these lists and remove any bad data, invalid addresses or malformed emails.

This means that before you use it, your list has been cleaned and optimised for good deliverability. This really helps to maintain a good sender score and decent inbox placement.

  5. Automatically managing bounces and unsubscribes

  6. When you send out your email marketing, some of your addresses may bounce - or some of your subscribers may wish to opt-out from future sends.

Email blaster will manage all of this automatically. Unsubscribes will be automatically deleted from your data, the software will let you know who these people are via the analytics section. It will also remember any unsubscribers and prevent them from being accidentally re-added in the future.

The software will also remove any addresses that bounce. A hard bounce will be removed after one failed send and a soft bounce after two.

  7. Track your results

  8. Tracking your campaign results and analyzing the data is a vital part of optimizing your future sends.

The email blaster software will provide an impressive depth of data after each send. Presented in easy to read graphs. You can see at a glance opens, reads, clicks, bounces & unsubscribes.

It doesn’t stop there though, email blaster’s analytics suite contains much more depth, giving you: the geographic location of each click, device used to view the email, social media interactions, which email browser was used, the exact reason why an email may have bounced and the exact time and date when a viewer read or clicked.

Having access to this depth of data means that you can fine-tune your future sends so that they really hit the mark.

  9. A/B Testing

  10. AB testing means sending different variants of your campaign to a small sample of your main list. You can then evaluate which version A or B had the best engagement and then send the winning version to the main database.

Email blaster fully automates this process. You can set which variants you want to test: subject header line, email design, send time or sending identity. You can define how large you want the A & B lists to be. The software will then measure the results and automatically send the winning campaign out at the time that you set.

  11. Track viewers activity on your website

  12. Wouldn’t it be great if you could track your viewer’s journey through your website after they have clicked on a link in your email?

Email Blaster gives you the ability to do this, by putting one line of tracking code on your website, the analytics suite inside the software will import data from your website.

You will be able to see which pages people visited if they purchased anything and the value of that purchase if they filled basket but did not complete and the most popular entry and exit pages.

  13. Fully automate a series of campaigns

  14. With the email blaster app ‘Automate’ you can set up a series of timed email campaigns to be sent at timed intervals. These sends can be triggered by an event such as a set date or when a new subscriber joins your mailing list.

With automate, you can set these campaigns to be decision-based, this means that if you have links to three products in your mailer - the next round of sends can be sent to specific groups of people who clicked on each links.

So, all of the people who clicked on product number one could then be sent another mailer that is tailored around similar products to their initial preference.

  15. GDPR compliant double opt-in for your website

  16. Email Blaster gives you the ability to create a web sign up form to use on your company website. It can be designed quickly and easily using email blaster’s drag and drop builder.

The subscribe app also creates a GDPR compliant workflow, it’s double optin and records date and time of the sign-up. Once completed, each new email address is then automatically added to your email blaster list inside the software.

  17. Data segmentation with List Builder

  18. Successful email marketing is all about viewing your results and then tuning your future sends based on previous viewer engagement.

What this means is that you may want to send a different email to the people who read your first send - and, you may want to send a variation of the first one to all of the people that didn’t read it.

With email blaster, you can do this quickly and easily with ‘List Builder’ You can ask the software to create new lists on the fly - based on criteria that you define from the results of the first send.

This is a great way to create subsets - or segments of data based on your subscriber’s viewing history.

  19. Spam score your campaign

  20. In order to get great inbox placement, it’s important to find out if there are likely to be any issues with your campaign before you hit the send button.

It’s really handy to be able to find out if you have any spam phrases os other issues that may cause spam filters to classify your send as spam.

Email Blaster goes much further than just testing for spam phrases though, our spam score app checks your campaign in realtime with Gmail, Yahoo, Microsoft, Apple mail and other email browsers. The app will give you a pass or fail with each.

Other key elements will also be tested, such as your subject header line, verification of your sending domain, your subject header line and the number of images versus text.

All of these are elements are used by spam filters to measure and evaluate whether to deliver your email to the inbox or junk.
