Pigeon wins broadband speed test

Its official, if you need to send a message quickly, use a Pigeon

Today in-order to highlight the poor broadband speeds that we get in the UK a Carrier Pigeon was pitted against the UK broadband network. Not surprisingly the Pigeon won.

A farm in Yorkshire released 10 Pigeons, each bird had a USB stick attached to their leg containing a 300mb video file. At the same time the 300mb file was uploaded to YouTube. 1 hour 15 minutes later one of the Pigeon’s had successfully made the 120km trip to Skegness – during this time only 24% of the video had successfully uploaded to YouTube.
