Is my data safe if I upload it to Email Blaster?

When you uploaded your data into our software, it’ll be sent using encryption during transit to our network of data servers. These servers are based in Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, no part of our network is outside of the UK, your data will never leave this country.

Email Blaster is registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) and is fully compliant with all aspects of GDPR. When GDPR came into effect in May 2018, our role was outlined as The Data Processor, this means that we are responsible for making sure that your data is stored securely and safely.

Your data is your own, as The Data Controller, you retain the full title. Email Blaster will never share your data with anybody, it will reside on one of our secure servers and can be deleted by you at any point. Should you decide to cease your email marketing, in accordance with GDPR (‘The Right To Forget’), your data would be immediately and permanently deleted in full.

All uploaded data is sent via encryption to the data centre in Buckinghamshire. The data centre we use is ISO27001 accredited and holds a tier 4 status. Tier 4 is the highest attainable standard for a data centre, it is protected by razor wire, security cameras, 24/7 on-site personnel and a network of secure fob activated doors. Only nominated Email Blaster personnel with appropriate security clearance are allowed to access the data hall.

Our network runs a total duplicate system with automated fail-over. This extends all the way back to the mains supply, internet feed and backup generators, every part of the network has a mirror setup.

We own all of our own servers, they reside in locked steel cages. We employ multi-layers of both hardware and software protection, we monitor global emerging threats in real-time and all security patches are auto-applied immediately that they are safe.

A full backup is run every twenty-four hours, we don’t use removable media and do not permit remote working for any key personnel.

Your Email Blaster account also applies the most secure login procedure. We offer 2-factor authentication and also IP white-listing for organisations looking to restrict login locations to a nominated address only basis.
